Noon was created by Stone Salad over the course of a weekend when he was alone in his college dormitory in February, 2010. It originally had no bass track and the drums were synthesized. The original track can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=m28prwtE9RU. You may notice that it is under a different band. Prior to Sartious, Stone Salad was part of Turkish Heresy, a some times solo, sometimes group band that is basically Sartious.
lyrics
One. Day. There was a time when I gave you my heart.
Now. I'm. Wondering why it all fell apart.
Believe, you know I used to believe,
That is was just you and me,
And that we were meant to be together.
Breath, all I can do now is breath,
Pray, that I will find my way.
Take. Away. Feelings of loss and emptiness
Can't. Stay. Feeling no hope and it's all meaningless.
Believe, you know I used to believe,
That is was just you and me,
And that we were meant to be together.
See, now I can see,
That I will never be free again,
But was I free back then?
Tell me why you thought I would be better without you.
I can see the shadows disappearing in the noon.
Believe, you know I used to believe,
That is was just you and me,
And that we were meant to be together.
Feel, I can't help but feel,
The time to repair and heal me,
Will never be a reality.
